Photography has been my passion for many years. In the early 1970's I completed a "correspondence coarse" from the School of Modern Photography. With my darkroom in the bedroom of our apartment I began processing all my photos and slides.
During the late 70's and early 80's I was a Wedding Photographer. I learned much about flash photography,and lighting.
I put my cameras down for a long period of time and only regained my desire to start taking pictures again after the birth of my first grandchild in 2007. Although I owned digital equipment for sometime the technology lacked the image quality I desired. In 2007 I started my Canon DSLR collection.
As you can see by my Photo Gallery my interests today is all kinds of photography with a focus on Wildlife and Nature. Most of my spare time is spent behind the camera on my own assignments. One day Newborn portraits, the next Dune Road. Long Island offers year-round photo opportunities, and I try take advantage of all of them.
